Requirement – User Requirements

A connection between these the aspects of performance criteria for the developed ADF and the customer’s expectations is crucial as it aids the customer in understanding the ADF’s performance and their role and responsibilities during automated driving. It’s important to take into account customer expectations, which can be converted into requirements when establishing performance criteria for the ADF under development. These expectations can span a broad range, including but not limited to comfort, safety, usability, controllability, and acceptance. It’s also essential to recognize the customer’s abilities and limitations, taking into account varying learning curves. To identify these elements, it might be useful to segment the identified customer/user groups. Lastly, customer feedback, which can be gathered post-deployment and incorporated into the next development or ADF update, is a reflection of these aspects. These factors should be addressed during the definition phase.
