An MRM typically happens if the user fails to appropriately take the vehicle control back, or if the function does not have enough time to make a proper TOR (for example due to a sudden unexpected situation). This question aims at considering how to inform the user in the event that the function has initiated the MRM, in order to provide the user with the necessary information (such as what is going on, why, and what the user should do next) to guarantee the necessary situation awareness (Marcano et al., 2021).
