HVI – Safe and Predictable Interaction between AVs and other Road Users

In order to ensure a safe, predictable, and culturally appropriate interaction between automated vehicles (AVs) and other road users, key aspects of human-machine interaction must be critically evaluated. Implicit behavior should be adapted to local traffic culture to support predictable interactions.
