Driver information and training is a compulsory element of road traffic. Concering the AVs the proper use of these systems has to be part of the people’s general digital education (Di Fabio at al., 2017). The proper handling of AVs should be taught in an appropriate manner during driving tuition and tested (AAMVA, 2019).
Main Question
Is the ADF provided with appropriate documentation and material for driver information and education?
Sub-Questions
- Was the dissemination material available about the capabilities and limitations of the AVs and their ADF checked with external stakeholders (eg. users)?
- Are there dissemination and training materials available with the vehicles complying with the relevant recommendations and regulations in place?
