System – Identification of V2X interactions for AD Vehicles

In the early stages of conceptualization, it’s vital to identify all possible interactions that the vehicle may come across, guided by the scope of the ADF. This process of identification should be all-encompassing, beginning with the strategic layer that involves route mapping and infrastructure interaction, progressing to the tactical layer that deals with control of maneuvers, and finally reaching the operational layer that handles fundamental actions such as braking and acceleration. After recognizing these interactions, it becomes imperative to create a top-level system architecture that delineates the ADF’s proficiency in effectively handling these interactions.

Main Question

Are the V2X interactions that the AD vehicle may encounter identified?

Alternative Questions:

  1. Are the high-level interfaces in the high level architecture planned considering the identified V2X interactions(supported by the ADF) within its ODD?
  2. Are the necessary functionalities and performance of the V2X functions integrated in the ADF identified?
